August

We started August off with a fun filled day! Nana, Nana Fagan, Kenny, Christy, Bryson and Ava came over and we all had a ball! We ate homemade chickenpot pie, homemade smoothies with figs from our backyard, and Nana Fagan wrote some of her famous recipes for my recipe book. It was a great and tiring day!

Saturday we went to MeMaw's house with Bryan, Weezie, Noah and Ellie Joe! They only see each other a couple of times a year, but when they get together, it's like they're all best friends! 

We came home to find 2 of Sal's kittens! 

Uncle Todd, Aunt Tricia, Josie and Ella came over to see Cora! They were so sweet with her. 

Saturday, we had supper at Eric and Ish's house, with everybody. We haven't gotten together with everybody in a long time. The kids really missed each other!

We went to the beach for a week with Mimi and Boop Boop! It was our first vacation all summer, and we had a great time!

Tuesday we went to Nana and PaDan's with Christy, Bryson, Ava and momma to pick the last of the blueberries. We love playing up there!

That night we went to Mr. Dan and Mrs. Margaret's house to churn butter and have breakfast for supper! It was really neat and fun learning how to actually make butter! It took about 45 minutes 

Wednesday, it felt like fall!! It's probably the longest we've stayed outside, without a pool nearby, all summer because it's been so hot! 

Jaden's first time to help Daddy pump gas! He was SO excited to get the receipt! When we got home, it was wrinkled and he got upset and wanted another one! I told him we'd get another one soon enough.

Another great day with my wonderful babies

We went to the beach for a week with Nana and Papa Joe too! Everybody came towards the end of the week, and Kim came and took our family picture.

We swam with Mimi today and had fun playing afterwards! 

Then we went to Nana's and tried to take a nap. Didn't quite work out...

August was a busy month of beach traveling, but it just had to be done. We had lots of fun days at home too. We are so blessed to be able to be healthy and travel. Hope we can have many more days like these!
