Braves

Friday we left home as soon as the boys got off the bus.
First stop, The Varsity!

When we got to the hotel, we got a nice surprise.
A Suite!
The kids loved having their own room.

I asked Elijah to smile.
Cora was listening to the Bible.

They have fun together.

We walked to SunTrust Park from the hotel.
Anders put a flower in my hair.
Cora got the first turn on my back.
(Also, Anders is wearing my 1991 Braves shirt!)

We made it!

They had so much fun "at the green".
I believe we could have stayed here all day and they would have been happy.

It was a beautiful day.

Anders' turn!

Give them each a bouncy ball and a set of stairs and they're good to go!

Lunch at Wahlburgers!

Next we visited the Chipper Jones pop up exhibit.
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame a couple of weeks ago and he was recognized in Atlanta this weekend.
His wife had a baby Thursday, so he wasn't at the game today.
The kids wrote their name on the window.

The biggest bobble head EVER!

Cora, catching the ball!

Lige was so tired.
This was the bench that sat in the old dugout.

The Mizzuno store was next on our list.
While we waited to do the batting simulator, they found the biggest glove EVER!

Next, we visited the SunTrust Bank "OnUp Experience".
Everything was free!
First, they got to see the field and dugout up close through virtual reality.

Then they got to pitch the ball!
Cora thought she was the batter.

We went back to "the green" before we headed to watch the parade.
Elijah was such a good boy. He just hangs in there with the big kids.

We went back to the OnUp Experience and Anders made a sign to hold up at the game.

They were super pumped about face painting!
I walked around with Lige for a couple of minutes and he was out.

The Braves Alumni Parade started at 4:30.
Blooper was so funny!

After the parade, we made it inside to see Mike Foltynewicz and get his autograph.
They gave each child a ball or bat for him to sign.
Such a neat experience. And very nice people.

That last name is tough to sign.

We made it inside!
Let's play some ball!

Brad saw Brad Clontz and ran over to talk to him!
He was like a little kid.

More simulators in the stadium.

The boys also rode the zip-line.

Jeff Francoeur, batting in the HomeRun Derby

Everything here is HUGE!

The Alumni

The game started at 7:30.
We left the hotel around 10:30 a.m.
These kids were great today!

Dippin Dots

They got their Rally Hats on!
Too bad the Braves didn't pull through tonight. We had a great time though!

Brad got me the most awesome gift ever.
We were talking about how we've both always wanted a customized jersey but they were silly.
But this. This I absolutely love!

We went to bed around midnight and woke up late. Thankfully everybody slept good.

One stop before we head home...
IKEA

He's the sweetest. ❤️

And we're home!
