Gatlinburg

This was our 4th Crow Gatlinburg trip! We try to take a trip to Gatlinburg when Alabama plays Tennessee in Knoxville. The scenery and weather are always so beautiful this time of year.

After 10 hours in the car, the kiddos were worn out. I guess Jaden got hot somewhere along the way...

9:00 Thursday morning. We slept good!

Breakfast at the Log Cabin Pancake House!

On main street, we had to get a picture with the Avengers!

Double Duty!

Pretty girl and pretty scenery

Coloring with Daddy, at The Peddler

Pops' getting some Cora loving

When I'm not in the room, and when I come in the room and don't immediately pick her up! Spoiled rotten

Friday morning bed buddies

After another yummy breakfast at The Log Cabin Pancake House

We spent the day at " the upside down house"

Jaden's first time to play laser tag!

We tried to get some pictures at The Apple Barn...

Then we ran into the Alabama Crimsonettes!

These boys love apples!

Back at the cabin, there's lots to do!

Saturday morning sleepy heads

Pretty girl, smiling with mommy. Enjoying the beautiful weather.

Took a family picture, before heading to see Santa and go to the game.

Santa! Anders was scared to death, until he saw he was a real person. He said "Ah! He really talks!"

Shopping til we dropped.

When everybody else left for the game, Mimi, the kids and I went to ride the Ferris wheel!

We had so much fun on The Island!

Back at the cabin we played, ate pizza, watched a movie in the movie room, and built snowmen that we got from Santa! And watched a little of the game, when possible.

Beautiful Sunday morning sun rise, and beautiful kiddos.

While we were packing the car, Weezie and Boop Boop found a dog. It almost made it home with them, but Weezie got in contact with its owner. Poor dog, he would have been spoiled to pieces.

Last picture, before we head home!

This family LOVES to take pictures. They're always asking me at random times, to take their picture. I always roll my eyes and get my camera out, to make them happy.

(The previous statement couldn't be further from the truth!!)

We had so much fun with the Crows. Looking forward to our next trip!!

Nana Fagan

Nana Fagan. We miss you so much already and it hasn't even been a week since you left this earth. Your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren love you so much. We can't wait to be reunited with you one day. You mean the world to us. You always had fried chicken, butter beans, homemade Nana biscuits and mashed potatoes on the stove when we came over. Your house always smelled like Warm Vanilla Sugar. You always had a smile on your face, and never talked bad about anybody. You were there at the hospital when most of your great grandchildren were born, and also made it to almost every birthday party. You loved your family very much. You always called to wish us a happy birthday if you weren't in town to tell us yourself. You always wrote the sweetest notes in your cards. You were an example of the Proverbs 31 woman. When I was little, and we visited your church on Sunday, you would always request we sing Victory in Jesus, because it is my favorite song. It would make me so happy! I'd look up to you, looking down at me, smiling. You were so happy to make someone else happy. I'm so glad we got you to write down your famous recipes. I hope, one day, I can make them as good as you did. Thank you for being the loving grandmother you were.
I love you.

October 22nd, Momma planned a wonderful celebration of Nana Fagan's life.

We spent 4 days in the mountains with Brad's family. It was a great family trip!

Jaden's team had their last baseball game of the year! So glad all the grandparents and Bryan and Weezie came to watch!

We finally picked out a pumpkin!

And the boys carved it

And it was so scary!

So glad these boys love playing with each other!
We're ready for the Fall Festival at church!
Had to make Cora's costume this year!
We had so much fun!

I love my babies!

Our yard transformation! We love it!

The boys wore their costumes to Krispy Kreme and got free doughnuts! They got their picture taken for KK Facebook page!

Pretty kiddies :)

Their first Trick or Treat house! After we got home, we made sure there was no razor blades in the candy, and then made chili and watched Home Alone! I hope to make this a tradition!

October was a month like we've never had before. We had some great times and some terrible losses. Life goes on though, and we learn to live with those losses. (Even though we will miss Nana Fagan, we know that she is living it up, in heaven!) Now it's time to bring on cold weather, family traditions and a whole lot of good food !
