Thanksgiving 2016

My most favorite day of the year! (Maybe like one point above Christmas.) We woke up early and headed to Frankville. Before we get there, Momma called and asked us to stop by Nana Fagan's house because they had a dead battery. My dad didn't have jumper cables (what?! I know!) Neither did we!... Scott showed up next. No jumper cables either, but he stopped by the neighbor's house and got some. Still not enough to crank the truck. Eric showed up with his jumper cables from Toys R Us (not really, but they were little bitty things) and finally they got enough power to the truck.
Family power!

Kids, don't let Scott be your role model... ;)

We made it!
Time to relax and let our minds rest.

Elijah's first Thanksgiving

We brought half the party with us this year!

There are some good cooks in this family!

Front porch swinging. My favorite!

The current Moorer family.

While we're all together, family picture!

Three generations

Most of the kids, playing in the yard.

We always take a mile walk after lunch.
It seemed longer this year with so many kids!

Family picture on the bridge.
(The long sleeved Turkey shirts were off by now, thanks to the 80 degree weather.)

The Moorer family. 50+ people this year!

My dream home.
Cora was named after the woman that ran this home.
She raised 7 kids in this house with no plumbing or electricity.
From what I hear, she was the Proverbs 31 lady.

Off to the Crow's family Thanksgiving!

The boys loved playing pool with Granddaddy. Legend has it, he's a pretty awesome pool player!

Caught Pops sampling!
This was some seriously delicious food!

Candids

The Crow family. (Chad and Toby Lynn were there too.)

We are so blessed to have such great families. Today was just excellent!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nashville with The Crows

In 7 years of traveling with kids, this is the first night EVER that they have wanted to sleep in another room, rather than with Mom and Dad. Bittersweet!
They slept great though, didn't get scared!

Bright morning porch time with my Sassy girl.

We went to the other condo where everybody else stayed, and had a home cooked breakfast!
Poor Baby Joe didn't know what to think about all the commotion of the other Crow kids!

Off to the Science Center!
Boop Boop got her workout in!
Cora loved the dinosaurs.
Brad and I did a moon walk simulation thing. I don't think it was anything like walking on the moon...
Anders loves the Magic School Bus!

I think the big kids had just as much fun as the little kids!

We had 30 minutes from when we got back to the condo, until supper time.
The boys and I went to all three pools! We were the only ones there. It was niiiice.

Supper was at the Aquarium Restaurant.
We had very good food and a fun time eating!

Then the REAL fun started! :D
Whoever thought about riding stuffed animals around a mall? It was very amusing!

The kids wanted to jump, so they jumped! Poor Cora weighed just enough to qualify! She was hilarious to watch! And of course Dippin Dots! It's only 8:00.

Saturday morning fun.

Then off to the Zoo!
We had to get a family picture every chance we got. This family loves to take pictures.
One day they'll thank me! :)

These animals loved having their pictures taken!

There was a pop up in the middle of the meerkat exhibit. Everybody wanted a turn in there with Daddy!

They got to pet a kangaroo!

I just love this picture.

Family picture time!

I don't know why we took a picture with this bear...

All the Crow grandkids.

Happy grandparents!

There was an old house with a large barn at the back of the zoo. My dream estate.

Back at the condo, we had a little time to spare before supper.

Santa was at the Opry Mills Mall!

Saturday we went to Franklin. It was a cute little town. Cora and I got some new sunglasses!

In the middle of the town was a monument about the battle that was fought there.

Back at the condo, the kids were playing with their new goodies and I saw Jaden helping Cora put on her lipstick.
Sweet brother!

Bubble bath time!

This kid is a trooper. He never made a peep, just went with the flow.

One last family picture at the Cracker Barrel!

We made a little stop on the way home. Liepers Fork. It is the cutest town ever!

One store had a place in the back where you could sit by the fire and roast marshmallows! How cute is that?!

Behind the store was a creek. The kids had the best time. We needed a little down time with no worries, rules or plans.

It was so peaceful.

Why not!

We didn't want to leave!

They can make a toy out of anything!

Our final stop was a rest area with a rocket!

And of course Taco Casa when we got home!

We had a great time with the Crows. Can't wait for our next trip!
