Easter 2017

We celebrated Easter with the Anders side at our house on Saturday. The weather was beautiful and the company was just great!

We ate supper first so that we could bribe the kids to eat, before hunting for eggs.

While the mom's hid eggs, Nana and Aunt Sam helped the kids dye eggs with shaving cream and food coloring.

They had the best time. Everybody will have blue/green/purple fingers for Easter morning! ;)

Ready to find lots and lots of eggs! (Totally forgot to add Elijah to the line.)

There was candy, money and toys in the eggs!

Aunt Sam helped Cora find lots of money eggs!

Sweet Teagan packed Elijah a special egg. He and Uncle Charlie were big buds today!

I love our yard.

Taco, blowing bubbles.

Cool Cats riding in the jeep

Now it's adult time to hunt for eggs!
There's still a $5 bill out there somewhere...

When you come to our house, be ready to help with something! :)
This time it was the zip line.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the girls playing.

Can't stop laughing at this picture! Spencer was flipping out!

Got the zip line tightened! After some brackets popped twice, we decided to play somewhere else...

Family picture

Easter morning! We didn't play up the Easter Bunny this year, except to get the kids in bed and stay there, or he wouldn't stop by... Since there wasn't much about him, I forgot to get the prizes out for their Easter baskets.
They didn't complain or say anything about only having eggs (with coins) and candy, but it just wasn't the same...

As I was getting Elijah up and ready, it hit me! I bought the prizes a couple of weeks earlier because I knew it was going to be crazy, the closer it got to Easter. So we just spread all of it on Anders' bed and let them find it. They were thrilled! Anders couldn't figure out how he slept with all that in his bed!...

Ready for church! (Not sure why everybody is touching Elijah...)

We clean up pretty good.

The kids were in service with us today. We were prepared with books and crayons!

After church, we ate lunch with the Faucett side. We had a great time catching up with everybody.

All of the great grandkids, with DDaddy and Memaw. They have their hands full!

Now on to the Crow's farm!

We were playing corn hole when Pops left with the kids to see the horses. They were gone by the time our game finished and we got over there. I had to have a picture, so we just took one with the horses!

After supper, we went to the Hoggle's farm to hunt for eggs.

They had to hunt for over 120 eggs!

Thank you, Aunt Tricia for the picture of Elijah and me.

We didn't get a family picture. :( It was late when the adults ended their hunt and the kids were ready for their beds.

We had another great Easter. God gave the greatest gift, his only son for us, undeserving sinners. Today we celebrate Christ's resurrection! He is risen indeed!

March

We had an eventful March!

I started my birthday month off with the stomach virus.
Worst night ever. Thankfully no one else got it!

My semiannual haircut day!

Snapchat filters make me feel pretty.
They also make me realize I shouldn't believe everything I see.

Anders was so excited about his first game of the tournament!

Cora got some new curlers! Elijah loved pulling them out!

Saturday, we celebrated Anders' 5th birthday!

Saturday and Sunday, we played lots and lots of baseball!
These boys improve so much with each season.
We're proud of the way they learn and improve their game.

Jaden loves to read. Anders got a new Paw Patrol book for his birthday,
and I walked in the living room to them reading it together.

Sister and Sparkles have a special bond. :)

A night AT HOME!! The boys were practicing baseball techniques
and Cora was driving around right up in the middle of them, never batting an eye!

This boy makes me proud. I was holding Elijah, who had just fallen asleep when the asparagus needed to be out of the oven.
Jaden put the oven mitts on, got the tray out of the oven, put cheese on top and put it back in the oven. He loves to help!

Rainy walk from the bus stop!

Wednesday afternoon at the park with cousins.

Thursday morning with Michael and new friends!

Sister is a great helper at the ballpark!

Elijah was keeping MeMaw on her toes at this game!

2nd Place

So proud!

Elijah's first time in a buggy!

MeMaw and D-Daddy gave us softball tickets for Friday night.
After the game, we went to Krispy Kreme!

Happy Birthday to me! Scott's family facetimed from the beach.
Brad cleaned the bathrooms without me asking!
Elijah ate a cracker for the first time, and I got Archibald's BarBQ for supper.

He's going to make a great Daddy!

All the girls were wearing pink at lunch!

Fun afternoon outside

Spring Break!
It was really the worst one ever.
It was cold and rainy. Cora had pneumonia. Anders had Broncitis. Elijah had his first cold.
Thankfully Jaden was good and kept us going. The board games got their moneys worth this week!

We did have some good quality time together.

I had to take Cora to the doctor, so Papa Joe came to the rescue to keep the boys.
He lucked out since Elijah was the only one that woke up, and that was at 9:00.
Jaden could NOT figure out this HangMan word...

First bath, not in the baby tub.
This boy is growing up TOO fast!

Game Night

Officially no more babies for us. :(

While Daddy was at home for the weekend, the rest of us went to Tannehill with Nana and Papa Joe. It was the best ending to this sick week.

We rode the train out of the park.
(Everybody is looking!!)

Such a fun day!

Oh I love it when they play nicely together!
They are best friends. Elijah will be in that 4th square before we know it.

Sunday lunch at Cypress Inn for Nana's birthday!

After lunch, we went to The Taylor's house and played in the creek.
I hope we can do this a lot during the summer. It was a really fun afternoon.

This little boy loves his momma!

Jaden found a "Yogurt Cup" Cake recipe.
He made it all by himself, and it was magnificent!

Family trip to the doctor!
This was for Elijah's 6 month check up.
(He couldn't get his shots because he was still stuffy.)
They were crazy, but we made it out alive...

There is NEVER a dull moment in this house.

Anders registered for Kindergarten today. I just can't believe it.
I don't want to believe it. He's my Baby A.
We saw Jaden eating lunch at school, and then went to Chabely's for lunch with Daddy.

Jaden had an Art Show at his school Thursday night. He is an artist.
We're so proud of how well rounded he is.
From art to baseball, he never skips a beat.

Movie and Dinner ALONE?! It was a much needed night out.

Saturday Morning Party in Mommy and Daddy's bed!

Anders hit 3 homeruns today!! He is loving this sport!

Spencer and Jaden's games got rained out, so we all went to Taco Casa for lunch!

7 months old.
My heart can't take all my babies growing up so fast!

I mean.
The sweetest.

We know a real farmer, and how they really dress!
Complete with a Magnolia Farms cap and muddy boots! :)

Great dentist appointments for the boys! And Jaden had an extra free ice cream for excelling in reading at school, so Cora got a free one too! (It's the only way we can afford these treats!)

Our hammock is more of a cocoon...

While Brother's team won 16-2, Anders made us dirt cakes!

March had some rough patches with sicknesses, but it could have been worse.
We have lots and lots to be thankful for. Now bring on more warm weather and outside play time!
