It's Birthday Month for this boy!
We're enjoying this awesome mid April weather, in February.
This tutu goes to a Build-A-Bear. Somehow they can all fit in it!
I guess if the "tutu and Cinderella shoes" fit...
We celebrated KK's 5th birthday with Unicorns and Rainbows!
Baby Joe had the cutest Lumberjack party.
We had to be festive and wear our plaid!
This baby in his new hippy hat! Can't get enough of him.
Sister had fun with Ellie Joe and Baby Joe. The boys were hiding, never around for a photo.
We went to The Allen's house for the Super Bowl party this year.
I think Elijah and Mr. Jeff had the most fun of anybody there!
Suppertime madness
Anders is getting better and better with sounding out his letters.
Today, he helped Cora learn some words!
Trying to take a family picture at MeMaw's birthday party.
This kid...
She had a big crowd to help her celebrate turning 80!!
Thursday, I needed some country. Dad was hauling hay for the cows, so we went to Nana and PaDan's house. Anders was amazed by the rotary phone! The VCR and VHS tape was so foreign to him too. It took me a minute to remember how to work everything. We started watching Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Now that'll take ya way back.
After getting lunch at the gas station, went to see the baby cows.
We were headed back to the house when the Ranger ran out of gas. So Dad ran back to the house, about a mile, while the 4 of us stayed with cows...
It's not an adventure if everything goes as planned!
I love the farm.
Anders finally had his best friend from school, Dean, over to play!
We got a new basketball goal! While Brad put it together, the kids played with the boxes and straps that the goal came in. I wonder if you can just buy boxes that merchandise comes in. Someone would make a killing if they ever did!
These cousins play so well together.
Great afternoon outside!
We're gearing up for baseball now!
Having two boys playing this year will be chaotic, but we're up for the challenge!
So so big!
Sassy, wearing one of Mommy's dresses!
Our Valentine's picture. These kids are my favorite!
Big boy loves bath time!
CHOM day! Levi was there! I think it made both of their day to see each other for a little bit.
Another big day. I signed Cora up for Day School! Anders was so proud to walk her into school. They both got a little upset when they found out she wasn't staying today. Momma's not ready yet!
Friday, we went to the park with Dean!
Cora had a sleepover with the boys. Surprisingly, they all slept all night!
Our All-Star!
Pops and Mimi are building a new house!
We love going to the land and climbing on the dirt mounds!
Happy Birthday Papa Joe!
We love some Snapchat filters!
Family Fiesta Night at church
The kids were out of school on Monday for President's Day. Eric, Breckam and Nana came to the playground to play with us!
Our walk on Wednesday was special. Nana went with us and treated us to Sparkley Macaroons, Hot chocolate and a raspberry scone. We'll take her on walks with us more often!
A new baseball toy! The boys love it!
You never know what you'll see this kid doing!
Josie came to church with us on Wednesday night. It was her birthday! She and Anders (and others) got Happy Birthday sang to them at Awana!
Sweet brothers at bedtime.
These two have a strong bond. I love it!
Today I was feeling overwhelmed. I closed my eyes and was reminded just how very blessed I am. These 4 people in front of me are my world. They make my life have meaning and I am so happy that God has allowed me to be their Momma.
February 23rd, Elijah had his first taste of food. Purple hull peas. He LOVED them!
This week, Mimi and Bear came to walk with Weezie, Joe and us!
Friday, we played with Dean AND Michael at the park! It was a beautiful day.
We got SUNBURNED in February!
Friday afternoon at HOME! I know we won't get these as often with baseball starting, so we're soaking in all the home time while we can!
Our first day of two kids in sports. It started out with Elijah waking up at 5:30, soaking wet. After changing sheets and getting him back asleep, it was time to get ready for the fun filled day. (Side note: yesterday it was 80 and perfect outside. Today it's barely 55 and so windy, it's freezing!)
Jaden had a basketball game at 8. We had to be there at 7:30 since Brad is his coach.
After that we went home to clean up for an hour. Then we headed to Parker's birthday party at 11:00. We left from there and went to Northside to watch Jaden in a practice game. He is on a really good team. Can't wait to see what they bring to a real game.
I left with Anders, Cora and Elijah and headed to Kentuck for Anders' practice. Cora's nap face summed up how I was feeling around that time too. We forgot all of Anders' baseball gear, so I had to stop at home to get his stuff. Then we ran by Taco Casa before practice. We were on time! WOOHOO! Well, his glove was in the carport, at home... Thankfully he has great coaches and they worked it out with others players to share.
At 6:15, we had to leave to watch Jaden at his Upward Awards Celebration. It's 9:00, and we tucked the last kiddo in bed.
Whooped is an understatement of how we feel right now. These are "the good ole days" though and I wouldn't trade them for anything!
Trampoline hair, don't care.
Our February Birthdays!
KK (Feb 1), Papa Joe, (Feb 21), Anders (Feb 29) and Taco (Feb 25)
My family will all be out of town for Anders' birthday party, so we had a birthday party at Nana Papa Joe's house!
We're happy that Uncle Charlie and Aunt Sam joined us too!
He loves him a green hat. This is the second time he's asked for a green hat!
Present time!
Face Swap worked with 3 people! Hilarious
Monday, we celebrated Anders with a little party at school!
He was excited to have Cora in his school room! We love Mrs. Kathy and Mrs. Kelly!
Dean and Michael were the first ones to sit at the table with him!
When we got home, we watched Storks. I fell asleep first, and woke up to them asleep.
Anders is such a great big brother to Cora.
That afternoon, we went to UpSurge for the first time! It was so much fun! I'm so glad to have something like this in town, so we don't have to drive to Birmingham anymore!
We are calling Tuesday Anders "official" birthday. We had a fun day at home. He wanted to watch movies and eat white noodles and white sauce!
I like these kids.
Papa Joe stopped by to give us some pancake tickets and was talked in to pulling them around the driveway. Cheap entertainment!
They'll make a toy out of anything!
We went to Mimi Pops house for supper! Fresh Bass, peas, coleslaw, macaroni, mashed potatoes, fruit and chocolate chip cookies.
Elijah rolled over for the first time! He was excited and scared all at the same time.
