PCB Fall Break Day 3

Beautiful last day for us.
Hurricane Michael was picking up speed, so we had to cut our trip a little short.
We still enjoyed every last minute we could!

The umbrella didn't stand a chance today.

The waves were getting bigger and bigger.

I think Cora and Elijah were missing their Daddy.
They sat with Uncle Scott for a little bit.

I have never seen so many sand crabs out during the day.
I guess they could tell a storm was approaching.

Each walk brought back buckets full of every kind of shell.

Keeping watch over my water bottle was his thing today.

We spent the afternoon playing categories at the pool.

Scott and Parker were our entertainment.

"Helping" Nana with supper.

"Would you rather..."πŸ’•

We're sad to leave the beach, but ready to see Daddy.

We left around 4:00 P.M., but Momma sent us this view of Monday night.

We found a half of a fish on one of our walks.
Maybe this is what happened to it.

PCB Fall Break Day 2

Day 2 of the Good Life.

πŸ’•Beach BabesπŸ’•

Oreos on the beach are sooooo good.

Each in their own perfect little worlds.

Anders loves to be buried in the sand.
First we had to dig a hole.
Elijah was going double time!

Happy boy!

Enjoying the down time.

Throwing the frisbee with my boys.

Fun in the sun!

Uncle Scott found the biggest wave and Jaden rode it in to the shore and didn't go back out! πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚

Tara and Taco had a good time riding the waves too!

These are the good ole days, boys.

Sweet memories

Walks with these kids are the best.

It is so neat to watch rain move over the ocean.

The aftermath of ocean fun.

Guy talk

Our cooks for the weekend.
We ate good for sure!

Everybody worked up big appetites.

Yummy ice cream for dessert.

He said he could put sunscreen on himself...

Crab hunting time

 Creepy DEAD sea snake

This was Elijah's first time to actually know what was going on in a crab hunt.
He'd reach out to try to touch one, but never could quite do it.
I videoed him reaching out and every time he watches it, he squeals!

I love making memories with these kiddos.
We missed having Daddy with us!

Playing a late night game of Uno, and coloring for the girls.

Phase 10 for the big kids, that lasted several hours.

Sometimes you get a foot in the face during this game!

PCB Fall Break Day 1

The kids and I went to Panama City Beach with Nana, Papa Joe, Scott, Tara, Spencer, Parker and Madalyn.
Daddy had to work, but thankfully I had lots of help and the kids all had their best friends to play with!

We left Friday after school and arrived around 10 P.M.
Saturday morning all the boys woke up and jumped in the bed with Nana!

Lige is ready for a day in the sand!

It was a beautiful place, on the beach.

First things first. Make slime.

Sweet kiddos

It took him a minute to get the urge to play in the sand, but he eventually made it.

Yep. We brought the gun show with us! πŸ˜‚

These guys were little fishes.

When the Red Tide got to be too much to handle, we headed for the pool.
We were all sitting, talking, enjoying the morning on the beach when all of a sudden the wind would blow and EVERYBODY on the beach would start coughing! I've never seen anything like it! Our noses were burning and running like crazy too.
Up at the pool, just that distance from the ocean, it didn't bother us.

Nap time

We were going to Margaritaville for supper and ran into a Pirate Parade.
The kids LOVED it!

The KIDS loved it. πŸ˜‚

I couldn't see part of the parade. πŸ™ˆ

We had a good time catching candy and necklaces!

We made it to supper at The Back Porch.

The best part: balloon animals and swords!

While we were gone, Daddy had time to whip this up for a customer.
He does amazing work with wood!
