November

We started November off with Monday at the Farm!

In October, we buried 2 kitties. Thankfully Jaden took it very well. I, on the other hand, had to be by myself for a little bit. Papa Joe knew Jaden wanted a kitty, so he gave him one from the farm.
This is Sal. :)

November 1, and the boys are in MeMaw's pool!

When we got back home, Jaden wanted to take Anders on a hayride!

The boys love helping Brad in his shop!

Jaden built a huge tall tower with his blocks!
(You'll notice Anders on the floor covering all of his blocks...)

Anders was just as excited about HIS tower!

Love these boys :)

Brad and I went to our 10 year reunion!

Sunday we celebrated 175 years of our church being Northport Baptist Church. It was a very special day. Lots of former pastors and members came back to celebrate too.
That night we didn't have church, so we went on a family date to Superior Grill in Birmingham!

Jaden loves grating the soap when we make our laundry detergent. He's a great helper!

He still keeps up his habit of sleeping anywhere but his bed. Sweet boy!

Anders learned he can put his hands in his pockets!

Friday we had a pj day!

When it warmed up a little, we went outside and played in the pine straw!

Saturday was Teagan's 3rd birthday party!

For Operation Christmas Child this year, Brad and I talked about making a box for a little girl, since last year jaden didn't want to give any of the contents away. We explained to him again this year what it was about, he understood and was willing to part with everything we bought for a little boy. :)

Alabama vs LSU

As part of our Christmas this year, my parents bought us all tickets to go see Princesses and Heroes on Ice. We had a great time! All the kids (and adults) were amazed!

Jaden is the best big brother
I finally made my "dream patio"!

Thursday nights, we get together with our Sunday school class, so the boys have babysitters. Tonight Bryan and Weezie came over!
We made s'mores! In the rain and cold!

Friday and Saturday we stayed at the Crow's farm. The boys loved it just a little! ;)

Didn't mean to cut Brad and Jaden's head off here... We had an adventure on Saturday!

Jaden was a big help to Pop's.
He loved playing Daddy in pingpong, sword fighting and shooting guns!

Sweet SWEET brothers

Out with the toddler bed, and in with the BUNK BEDS!!
These were Brad and Bryan's when they were kids. So special!

Sal Sal has warmed up to us and doesn't like us to leave her now. Sweet kitty

Sunday, we all coordinated! Thanks to Aimee Cowart who noticed and had to take our picture for us! haha

We went to The Bright Star Monday to celebrate Daddy's birthday! (And use a coupon for a free entrée!)

Just a normal Tuesday!

My lunch dates. They were so good :)

Always has to be like brother

Momma at lunch with us at Panera Bread and back home for cookies on the patio!

The boys and I got Brad a pingpong table for his birthday! They made it really easy for him to put it together... We all enjoyed it once it was up!

Thanksgiving!

Crazy boys

Monday we had a couple of friends from high school over for supper and games! Everyone's kids came and they had a blast!

Wednesday brad got off of work early, and we went to the BIG movies to see Frozen! Then we went to Tokyo to finish our family date :)

On Thanksgiving, we hanged it up this year and didn't do all of the traveling we usually do. We put up our Christmas decorations! It was a great day! The boys loved it as much as Brad and I did!

Sweet boys. We were looking back through our Disney World scrapbook. Ready to go back!!

We watched the Alabama vs Auburn game at Scott and Tara's house. We made homemade popcorn and had chips and dips and cupcakes for supper! Then we went on a golf cart ride before it got too dark. Fun Fun!!

Another great month in the books! Ready for the last month of the year!

October

October is the best month! Still have the warm (not hot) days, but we get the introduction of cool days!

October 1st, after dropping Jaden off at day school, Anders and I went to run errands! It's different only having one child with you!
For lunch, we at at City Cafe with Nana! Jaden ate a turkey burger, tomatoes and macaroni and cheese and Anders ate fried catfish, okra, chicken and macaroni and cheese! Woohoo! And we all got our blowpops for eating!

In the afternoons, they love riding their tractors and 4wheelers around the yard!!

We've started walking just about every day with Mimi. We do about 4.5 miles (pushing about 100 pounds) before I'm ready to fall out! We've been all over Northport and Tuscaloosa! Love days like these!

Love my boys and their pets :)

A normal doctor visit for us! Have to keep them entertained somehow! There's no telling what all is in my purse...

Friday night before homecoming, we went to Steel City Pops, walked around the Walk of Champions and met Big Al! The boys were not impressed with the cheerleaders or Big Al!

Saturday we all went to the game!

Sunday night was Glow Night in Awana!!

Monday we finished up Jadens birthday ice cream gift card

Every year, we take a trip to the beach with my side of the family and take Momma's Christmas card picture. This year we had 15 people! And we're still growing! It was a lot of fun with everybody together!

The day after we got home, Jaden wanted tomato sandwiches on his picnic table.
He's definitely my son!

This was on our walk to Mimi and Pops house, for supper.
That night, Jaden was a reflection of Brad! :D

Just a trim in the front. He did so good! Sat so still in his swing!

Our weekly lunch date :)

I went to Market with Asheley, for the first time! It was fun, but we came home a day early bc we missed our babies :)

Brad, Jaden and Anders working on the Awana GrandPrix car!

Jaden loved it! He was so proud of his Superman car!

Monday we went to a pumpkin patch and brought home 3 pumpkins!

After school, Jaden always shows Tiny Cat his art work. She loves it! :)

Probably the last say of the year to go without a shirt! They love playing outside!

Wednesday we went to a park with Teagy and KK. They had a blast!

Saturday, we finally had time to carve the pumpkin. The boys loved it! Brad let Jaden design the face he wanted.

After carving the pumpkin, Brad and I went to the AL vs TN game with his family.
It was a perfect day!

Sunday, we went to Sunday in the Park at Capital Park. I think it was geared mostly toward girls, but Jaden made the most of it! Painted a fence, played horseshoes, made a doll, colored dresses for paper dolls and made a quilt!

Monday we went out for Halloween donuts!

Monday night we went to Nana and Papa Joe's house for Trick or Treating!
And came home to take one more picture with our pumpkin :)

Wednesday we went to lunch with Daddy!

I think the boys dressed up in a different costume, every day of the month. We sure did have fun!

Happy Halloween!

At 1:00, on Halloween, we closed on our house!!! It was on the market for only 10 days!
The Lord has truly guided us through this year, with buying and selling houses. We are so thankful for our new friendship with the new owners of our old house. We are also so thankful for our new house, and all of the memories we will make here!
