Our new mantle! This log came out of Nana Anders' dad's corn crib. It held up part of a wall. It's over 175 years old! I can't wait to get it stained and put up in our living room!

This week's project... I've been wanting to recover this chair for like 8 years, but didn't have the time or money to spend on it. So Beth told me about painting it with chalk paint...

On Friday, I called Mimi to see if she wanted a couple of dates for lunch. Thankfully, she said yes!
I enjoyed a nice QUIET lunch OUT of the house! Some days I just need a minute to myself.
We went to the beach for a day! Kim's wedding is in Mobile, so we decided to drive down the night before, and wake up at the beach!
