The year started off with me having a terrible cold. I can't remember the last time I had a cold like that. Ugh, so bad. But thankfully Brad was home for 11 days, and we made it through it!
January 1st, we slept late and watched football. Jaden taught Anders the basics of "shaving the sharp things off your face". And Cora and I tried to rock our sickness away.
I did manage to organize the boys drawers. I wonder how long they will stay this way...
After the annual hog jowl, black eyed peas, turnips and cornbread, we settled in for The Santa Claus. (Cora doesn't like it when she sees me and I don't pick her up...)
Friday, we went to Target! I could spend everyday in there. Sassy loves it too!
Jaden got over 70 mustaches for Christmas. Thank you, grandmothers... ;)
Cora will not eat babyfood. When a spoon comes towards her face, she puckers her lips and will not budge. Since she has had to have medicine everyday, several times a day for the past week, I decided to see if she'd take her food through a syringe ... She doesn't LOVE it, but it's a start!
CHOM fun! We haven't been since October. The boys have so much fun, every time!
We checked out a book from the church library about 3 weeks ago, and Brad is just now reading it...oops
Jaden is such a good boy. I told him to pick out his clothes for school tomorrow, being the first day back, and I went in his room and find this. He makes me smile!
Jaden's last first day back, of day school! He's so excited!
I haven't gotten the boys pictures made in forever, so we did a little homemade shoot! They're growing up so fast!
Jaden made some kale chips, and LOVES them!
We went on a fun date to Texas de Brazil, in Birmingham. It was a great experience!
I decided to redo the laundry room. New shelves and paint. So that means a family trip to Lowes!
The boys did a great job helping!
We haven't seen Teagy and KK in a while, so we decided to have a play day!
They love painting in the afternoons!
When she won't let me out of her sight, we have to do things differently
When they're alone on the kitchen, they're usually making something yummy! Rice Krispys today!
Cora's first time in her walker. We had supper at church with our Sunday school class.
Red velvet pancakes for breakfast were a hit!
Cora is 8 months old! Can't believe it. Sticking her tongue out like this is her favorite!
We celebrated Bryan's birthday at the Crow's Farm.
Sister's first tune to take a bath in the big bathtub!
They looked so pretty this morning, I had to take a picture :)
Papa Joe with numbers 8 and 9
It was such a beautiful day outside. I just had to read my book with Crimmer
We celebrated DDaddy's 80th birthday on Sunday!
School was out on Monday, so Brody and Levi were able to come play!
Papa Joe and Jaden had fun pulling up our old bushes! Can't wait to plant some fresh baby azaleas!
I love mornings with my precious babies
Thursday, Momma went with us to Airwalk in Birmingham. We had the best time! After that workout, we had to go to Johnny Rockets and get milkshakes, and Steel City Pops for popsicles!
8 months old and so many teeth coming in!
She loves swinging with her brothers
Anders, putting on 'odorant'
Saturday we went to Brody and Levi's house for brunch and a play day!
Jaden is such a great brother to push her on the swing.
How many people does it take to make a Snoopy Snowcone?
Well, the kids had fun while I went to ACTS!
Washing windows before 8:00! Ahhh!
They love each other
This kid makes me smile.
