We had a great drive. Made it to the beach with only one stop. And that's with a 5 week old, 2.5, 4.5 and 7 year old and Brad's bladder... Amazing in itself!
When we got to the condo, we unpacked, and started to unwind and realized we FORGOT our picture clothes!! It's late, I'm crying, feeding Elijah, Brad's saying he'll drive home (10 hours round trip) to get them (aww!!) and the kids are wondering why I'm crying.
Then Brad says we can Photoshop Cora's dress on her... ehhh maybe.
We specifically ordered all the girls the same dresses for this family picture, and Cora's is at home.
I texted a friend who lives in Saraland to see if she has something Cora can wear. Praying for something!
Brad went to Wal-Mart to get the boys and him something to wear for the pictures. I'm at the condo wondering what in the world I can do for Cora...
Brad calls me... He just called his brother Bryan to see if he knows if Drew is in Northport. (Drew is their cousin that lives in Orange Beach.)
-Here's the kicker-
Drew is not only WITH Bryan in the same truck, in Northport, they are on OUR street about to go to Drew's parents house to get his truck. 😳
Drew is leaving tomorrow, headed back to the beach.
I'm ugly crying. The kids are like what in the world??? They're rubbing my arms, saying "It's going to be ok mommy, we'll find clothes." Haha they don't know what has just happened. Sweet kiddos.
I mean if you don't see God in that, where can you see Him?! The smallest things, God cares. Brad and I are just speechless! What a day!
The kids all wanted to sleep beside each other. At the end of the day, they want to be close. I love it! (These cots are a must have, when traveling!)
Saturday morning was like Christmas. The weather was crisp, guys were cooking breakfast, kids were getting along wonderfully and everybody was happy.
Perfect day at the beach! No clouds, windy and cousins. Nothing better!
Elijah thinks Uncle Eric is funny looking!
Brad met Drew at 5:20! Then it was picture time!
It's funny that we lined up the same!
The guys were good sports while we took pictures, during the start of the Alabama game!
Time for some Alabama football!
Sunday morning we slept later. The boys went fishing and we ate cereal on the porch with blankets.
Since it was 65 degrees and windy, we decided to go to The Track!
